Autumn Is Coming

Just got word from Mike Davis that my story "Cul Du-Sac Virus" is going to be included in his Autumn Cthulhu anthology. As an avowed lover of Autumn (there really is no better season) I'm both honored and excited to have one of my stories among the leaves.

Tiny Terrors: Finals!

I'm as surprised as hell to have made it into the Tiny Terrors finals, but the story just went live, so please, head on over and give it a read. It won't take more than a moment of your time (the story is only 50 words long).

If you like it, vote for it. If not, well, still vote for it.

In an act of supreme hubris, I wrote all five of my 50-word stories in the first week of the contest, then immediately started regretting it as I agonized over which to submit for each round. Should I lead heavy in a bid to make the quarter and semis or should I hold (what I felt was) my best stuff for later rounds?

I've lost a suprising amount of sleep over it.

Oh, and also, you may have noticed the (huge) upgrade to my website. More on that, and the fine, fine gentleman responsible, later.
